My idea for the final project is to research some form of art. I am leaning towards paintings because I am an artist and that is my favorite medium but also because that is what I primarily saw when looking through art museum’s ancient china exhibits. I am also considering maybe calligraphy, I was able to find a bunch of different articles on jstor, such as this one that seemed like a good starting point. I definitely want to do further research on both topics before I narrow it down completely but as of right now, I am confident that I want to do my project on art.
